How did you obtain your job?

What do you enjoy most about your position?

As a Senior Research Investigator/scientist, I get to find methods to analyze and characterize proteins and lipids present in soy products.

What advice can you provide current students seeking a career in this field?

Make sure you take a variety of classes to give you more flexiblity and direction in the future.

What was your favorite memory as a student in the College of ACES?

Loved the faculty, ACES has the best!

What was your favorite ACES class and why?

Dr. Shelley Schmidt's Experimental Design Class. Can't beat that!

How do you feel the College of ACES prepared you for your future?

The classes gave me a great focus on what I wanted to do once I got out. The Labs were fantastic.

What advice would you give current students while a student in the College of ACES?

Study, Study, Study and don't give up!

UOI was the first one to reply to my letter while I was in Kenya, Africa

Relaxing at the Quad

Volleyball, Swimming, Tennis
