I created my company to supplement income from my farming business. It has since become my primary source of income.
My work is my hobby, therefore it isn't really work at all.
We have sold several multi-million dollar properties (primarily farmland) at auction, consistently setting new highs in the farm real estate market.
Meeting and getting to know other students from all around the state.
Agricultural Law. Hank Hannah was a professor that was able to turn the classroom into the real world.
It prepared me for the future by instilling the importance of networking with those around me to succeed in the business world.
Work hard and play hard. Always be aware of those around you, continually making friends that you will connect with throughout your lifetime.
I never really attended the College of ACES. I attended the College of Agriculture. I often still refer to it as such. I enrolled here because of the success of other UI agriculture grads in my area. I never really considered another college.
National Guardsmen positioned shoulder to shoulder around the Quad. Perhaps this wasn't the best of times on campus, but it was very intriguing talking with the soldiers.
