Bradley Wolter

Dr. Bradley Wolter received his Bachelor of Science ('97), Master of Science ('99) and Ph. D. ('02) in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois. After receiving his degrees, Bradley joined The Maschoffs, one of the country's largest family-owned pork production networks. In 2006, Bradley was named their Chief Operating Officer .

While at The Maschoffs, Bradley has fostered numerous research projects between the company and the College of ACES, including funding for research. Bradley has further extended the relationship by directly helping students. He developed the Master of Animal Science in Swine Production degree, which incorporates a broader range of technical and business management skills and gives the students practical experience of the swine industry, via applied research studies with The Maschoffs. Bradley and his wife, Kimberly, also personally sponsor a Jonathan Baldwin Turner scholarship in the College of ACES. Bradley also donates his time to the college by giving guest lectures and presentations to ACES students as an adjunct professor in the college.

Bradley has also been actively involved with various organizations related to the animal industry, including the Illinois and National Pork Producers organizations, the Department of Animal Science External Advisory Board, Illinois Leadership Foundation and the American Society of Animal Sciences. He is also a graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program.

Bradley and Kimberly live with their two children near Aviston, Illinois.

Bradley states, "The experiences provided by ACES broadened my awareness to life's opportunities and created a confidence to pursue excellence within my career."
